      Division:
      Nestlé Distribution/Transportation Co.

Keys to my success at Nestlé:
The people that I've come in contact with in this organization are one of the major reasons for my success. I have been fortunate to have been involved with great teachers and developers. Some have been as supervisors, but I have also had that type of relationship with peers and employees who I supervised. Their expertise, pride and willingness to share information allowed me to learn our business and strengthen my skill level. I've also tried to push myself to deliver on the expectations people have of me and that I have of myself.

My advice to new employees about coming to Nestlé:
As a whole, I don't think you could find a better overall company to work for. No matter where you work within our company you're part of something pretty special and that in itself is a great motivator.

What I like most about Nestlé:
The favorable and respected image our customers have about us and the fact that is a direct result of the efforts and passion our employees put into their jobs.

What sets Nestlé apart from other companies:
I feel that we care more about all our customers, internal and external, and the services they are receiving. I think that as employees we are confident in the direction of our leadership and can look at our successes and use that as motivation.

      Why I choose Nestlé:
I wanted to work for a company that was well respected and recognized in the food industry.

    • Anson

      Division:
      Nestlé Purina PetCare Co.

Keys to my success at Nestlé:
Primarily I would say that my work ethic has contributed the most to my success at Nestlé. This was something I was taught at an early age, and continued to develop in college, where I worked two internships. These experiences gave me a "real world" view of what the packaging industry was like, which in turn allowed me to be better prepared when I graduated. Also, I spent my first two years at Nestlé in manufacturing. This firsthand experience has been priceless in preparing me for the job that I do now. I am able to make much better decisions now that I know all the areas in which I impact.

My advice to new employees about coming to Nestlé:
Don't be afraid to take a job that is not exactly what you think you want to do. Nestlé is very good about giving people a well rounded knowledge base through numerous different job assignments. Also, don't be afraid to take an assignment in a factory. Again, it may not be what you want to do, but the experience you can gain will be invaluable.

What I like most about Nestlé:
Diversity. Not in any one regard, but all around. I like the diverse products that we manufacture. From a packaging standpoint, this gives me the opportunity to work with a whole array of package types all under one roof. I also enjoy the cultural diversity here at Nestlé. I have met people from all over the world and find it very interesting to learn about their countries and cultures. Nestlé offers you the opportunity to become well rounded both personally and professionally.

What sets Nestlé apart from other companies:
Again, it's diversity. The exposure to people and products that Nestlé can offer is unparalleled in the industry. No other company can provide such a wide range of exposure and opportunity under one roof.

      Why I choose Nestlé:
Diversity, opportunities, exposure, reputation, and resources!

    • Stephanie

      Division:
      Nestlé Purina PetCare Co.

Keys to my success at Nestlé:
My determination, persevering and hard work have been the primary reasons why my time with Nestlé has been successful thus far. My experiences with the company have allowed me to grow both personally and professionally. These experiences, combined with my commitment to the Nestlé Blueprint for Success, will enable me to continue to be successful.

My advice to new employees about coming to Nestlé:
Listen. One of the key components of great leader is his/her ability to listen. For individuals that are just starting with the company, I would recommend to each of them to listen to operators, colleagues, mentors, etc. All of the information that is shared may not necessarily be used but an opinion can be formulated after listening carefully.

What I like most about Nestlé:
The component that I enjoy most about Nestlé is the fact that the company is full of opportunities. The size of the company and its diverse product portfolio allows individuals to explore various divisions both locally and abroad.

What sets Nestlé apart from other companies:
Although Nestlé is a large global company, we realize that people are our best asset. Through training and development of its employees, Nestlé is one step closer to being the high-performance driven company that it will one day be.

      Why I choose Nestlé:
I chose Nestlé because it presented the most opportunities for me as it pertains to career advancement. Other companies "talked the talk" but in my view, Nestlé "walked the walk."
